5 Home Remedies for Dehydration

Dehydration is a stipulation of the body, wherein the fluids of the body decrease at a high pace which causes severe cramps, dizziness, light-headedness, low blood pressure and drowsiness. Water is an indispensable element for the human body because 60% of the body is constituted of water and is required through thick and thin.

It causes the loss of water, this makes the suffered tired and hence, it becomes important to get rid of this issue as soon as possible. The major cause of dehydration is food that the digestive system cannot bear with ease, and it has to struggle a lot for complete digestion. 

The top five home remedies for getting rid of dehydration are:

1. Dehydration treatment with water:

During dehydration, it is only water that is displaced from the body at a high pace that causes weakness in the body. It is rattling important to induce water at the same rate at which it is getting out of the body. If the water level of the body is not upheld, then a person can also be hospitalized.

Water is a material that assists nutrients to flow through blood and tissue, removes harmful toxins and waste from the body, controls the body temperature and promotes the functioning of enzymes and proteins.

Due to the importance of water, it is recommended to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day and during dehydration, the liquid prepared by combining a glass of water, one spoon sugar and a pinch of salt is really helpful in hydrating the body.

The food which is simple and easy digestible should be consumed because the body is weak during dehydration and these foods can be digested without struggling and resisting the same amount of nutrients to the body. The bland food with less content of spice assists in recovery of lost nutrients and vitamins that provide energy to the torso.

The commonly recommended foods for getting rid of dehydration are potatoes, bananas, and gelatins. Boiled potatoes and rice are spice free and tin be easily digested by the stomach, but the best thing about potatoes and rice is that they are rich in fat and carbohydrates which promote energy in the body.

Gelatins are made up of water and are a salutary remedy for curing excess loss of water.

3. Dehydration treatment with bananas:

When water is dehydrated from the torso, then salt is also lost from the body. Salt provides energy to the body and bananas is an excellent source of energy so it works as a substitute for salt in the torso.

The contents of banana have a plentiful source of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, chloride and bicarbonates assists in maintaining the liquid levels of the body and helps in the building of cramped muscles.

4. Dehydration treatment with Apple Cider Vinegar:

While dehydration the body struggles a lot that exhausted the muscles that cause muscle cramps and aches. Apple cider vinegar is rich in content of potassium which aids in relaxing the exhausted muscles. A tablespoon of vinegar can be added in water and then drink or a cup of vinegar can be added to the warm water tub.


5. Dehydration treatment with watery fruits and vegetables:

The loss of water from the body can also be hydrated by consuming watery fruits and veggies. The watery fruits are; watermelons, grapefruits, apricots, strawberries, cranberries, cantaloupes, blackberries, apples and apricots.

The watery vegetables include tomato, broccoli, cucumber, zucchini, carrots, lemon, celery, cabbage and cauliflower. Sometimes dehydration is also caused due to a side effect of some medicine or it can be due to excess release of digestive juices or if can be a symptom of some disease.
