The craze and fond of using beauty products arise especially at the teenage. Teenage is the phase of human life when hormonal changes are at peak and there are numerous things occurring in the body at the same time.
It becomes a big trouble to provide care to the skin when everything is changing. But, with simple ways, you can provide care for your skin and protect it from any damage. There are many things which teenagers should know either from their parents or from somewhere else.

The beauty products are packed with chemicals and preservatives which may harm the skin. The skin of each and every person is different and require different products according to the skin requirement.
For instance, if you have oily skin, then products that make the skin more oily should be avoided on the other side if you have dry skin then products that make the skin dry should be avoided.
It is very important to know your skin and then use the product very carefully. Even, if you are buying a simple fairness cream then also take care of your skin type as you will use it on a regular basis.
2. Sun protection:
Teens used to roam here and there outside in the sun for long hours that causes suntan. Sun not only damages the top layer of the skin and results in dark skin tone, but it also causes many skin issues including, acne, pimples, and spots.
The sun gives ultraviolet rays which results of cancer and other serious skin diseases. A sunscreen with at least SPF 30 should be applied on the skin whenever you are going out in the sun.
3. Remove the makeup:
If you are wearing makeup, then wash it off thoroughly because having makeup on the skin for longer hours damages the skin. You are a teen now, so, never sleep with the makeup as it may cause blemishes.
It is better to keep it all natural and do not apply any makeup on the skin, but if you are doing so, then take care that cleans your skin properly after applying the makeup.
4. Wash the face regularly:
In the day, the skin has to come across bacteria which is caused by sweating and sun exposure and the skin has to fight with them. These bacteria harm the skin and are the reason behind the occurrence of pimples and acne.
The face should be washed with a mild cleanser and harsh and rough product should be avoided so that irritation is not caused to the skin.
5. Have faith in yourself:
It is a very important thing to have faith in you and to define your own personality. At this age, it is normal to feel insecure about your beauty and personality which makes you compare yourself with your friends or classmates.
This is totally wrong as everyone is not same as some may have curly and brown hairs and other may have straight and black hairs then what is the use of comparison.
6. Avoid dieting:
It is only in this age when the craze of dieting strikes in the mind. Dieting is not at all a good idea of the teens because already there are many changes occurring in the body.
It becomes very important to supply enough nutrients and minerals to the body so that it can help the body to fight with those changes.
It is true that trying new things on the skin and hair can be more harmful and show the negative impact because, at this age, teens do not have enough knowledge about what they are using. The incomplete knowledge about these products may show such a dangerous result that one cannot change and it lets a lifelong effect on the skin.
