Age spots, also called as sun or liver spots, they appear on body parts like legs, face, hands, arms, and back. The age spots normally start at the age of 40 and above. All you need to do is take a lemon and cut into two. Take one piece and rub it gently all over your skin. Let it for 30 minutes on your skin and then wash it off with cold water. Repeat this twice a day until all the spots and patches go away.
Buttermilk works the same way as lemon juice does. This is because buttermilk contains lactic acid just like lemon juice contain citric acid, but the difference is that lactic acid goes well for all skin types and does not show any signs of dryness.
Take some cotton, dip it in buttermilk and apply all over your face. Leave it on your face for 15 to 30 minutes on your face and wash it off with water. Do it twice in a day for best results. You can also add lemon juice or tomato juice to make it work more effectively.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar also works in removing age spots. Dilute some Apple Cider Vinegar solution with an equal amount of water. You can also add some honey to the solution. Apply it on age spots and leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. Try this once a day.
Castor oil has healing properties associated with it, which helps in treating age spots. Take a cotton ball, dip it into castor oil and gently apply it all over the affected area and massage for some time. Let it sit on your skin for 2 hours and then wash it off. If you have dry skin, add some coconut oil to castor oil.
Aloe is yet another home remedy to treat age spots. It has skin healing and skin regeneration properties. Take Aloe 2 spoons and apply it on affected area. Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash off.
