Most of you people would have studied in your primary about the ozone layer and its effects on human life.  Its destruction is directly proportional to our destruction.  The ozone layer is meant to protect us from the harmful UV rays.  But, destruction of it is directly affecting human living on this earth.

In the name of getting essential Vitamin D to our body, we are risking our lives by exposing ourselves to the sun.  Sunscreen protects our skin from such harmful rays.  It stops the UV rays from penetrating into the skin and thereby prevents any further skin complications.

2. Halts Premature Aging

People love to celebrate age, but hate to be aged.  The entire world works on the same formula.  As human beings, we all love to look young no matter what age we are in.  We love to have young looks, radiant and healthy skin irrespective of the age.  These days, due to the environmental conditions we are living in, we are aging faster than our actual age.

But, here sunscreen comes as a Savior.  It solves all your problems.  It helps in halting premature aging.  Premature aging is a most common problem seen in many young people these days.  So, to get rid of it, give sunscreen a try and see.  It works wonders in halting the premature aging.

Overexposure to the sun and its harmful rays will lead to different types of skin cancers.  So, once again sunscreen comes as a savior.  It protects us from the rays that the sun releases.  Using sunscreen daily will keep us away from all types of skin cancers.  There is cancer called melanoma which belongs to the family of skin cancers which is dangerous and was particularly seen in women in the age of 20s.

4. Reduces Blotchiness on Face

Due to the implication of rays on the face directly, there arise issues like blotchiness and irritations on the face.  By applying sunscreen regularly to the face, you can prevent that irritation like feeling and also get rid of acne scars on your face.

5. Shut Outs Sunburns

Ultra Violet rays spoil our skin with sunburns.  It subjects our skin to bruises and weakens our skin.  Due to the overexposure to the sun rays, skin undergoes swelling, redness, hives, peeling, and itching.  A study done by ‘Annals of Epidemiology’ in August 2008 has proven that repeated occurrence of sunburns could increase the risk of lethal melanoma.  So, application of sunscreen regularly would help you from preventing sunburns.

6. Protects From Tanning

Tanning is one of the major problems nowadays.  No matter what level of sunscreen we apply, somehow our body gets tanned.  So, before choosing the sunscreen, make sure to choose the SPF level that works towards preventing tanning.   And depending on the level of sun exposure, choose to apply sunscreen at repeated intervals.  If you have a sensitive skin, use it regularly.

Sunscreen protects important skin proteins, such as collagen, keratin, and elastin from getting damaged.  These proteins help in keeping the skin healthy and smooth.   Use sunscreen which has titanium oxide in it.  Titanium oxide holds on to above essential proteins for the body.
